Spent only a few days on this model so far, started building in Maya and using Maya's smooth poly tool. Still working on the front geo, I'm more interested in blocking in the geo first, then I'll come back to clean up. There's obvious mistakes I'm not too worried about at this stage. Next step is too build the back of the car.

Work in progress. Modelled the basic shape in a weekend, and did a really quick render playing with Vray shaders for the mud decals and bodywork.
Textures/ geo is basic and low res with lots of texture seams at this time. One of my favorite renders is an red old mini covered in mud I saw a while back so I'm hoping my final render will be just as good.
